Mission Statement

We at Yuma School District-1 are committed to meeting the academic needs of all students. We expect all students to demonstrate proficiency on the district essential outcomes, based on the Colorado State Standards. We individualize instructional strategies to ensure that essential outcomes are met and applied in a variety of situations. We provide an environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning where students are actively contributing participants.

Improve classroom instruction and learning environment in order to increase achievements at all levels and close the learning gap between first and second language learners.
